For this project, I approached a local small business and asked to redesign their pavement sign. The sign is an A-board outside the shop and was originally hand drawn.
After having a chat with the owners, the only guideline given was to include the logo (the pink ribbon seen at the top) and inclusion of a new tag line "your local craft supplies".
From the images below, you can see how the poster developed. Originally it was very busy, to emulate the interior of the shop, but I found that the written information was being lost in the design so gradually it became more simplified. Narrowing down the colour palette also draws focus to the logo and tagline.

Crafty Snippets has been around for at least 10 years and I felt it was time I did something to help them out. They were extremely grateful!
