This piece was commissioned as a gift for the clients son, Gareth, who is an architecture student completing their Masters Degree. I was given a few reference photos and a lot of freedom.
The final artwork features Gareth's desk and workspace, as he had to finish his studies at home during lockdown.
The sketch in the background is one of Gareth's most recent designs, and the typography in the is the HTML code from his portfolio website.
This piece was commissioned for the clients wife, Ali. I was sent this photograph of the view from their holiday home, and asked to create an illustration.
The final piece chosen by the client had the beige colour scheme, but I'm rather fond of the blue version.
My client specifically asked for this phrase but said I could do what I wanted with the outcome as long as I kept it simple (and black and white).
